I made manicotti tonight. I actually bought the pasta shells, put together the filling, and stuffed them myself. It was extremely yummy...and a lot of work. Does anyone know an easy way to fill manicotti shells? I think Pampered Chef sells a tool that would work. Anyway, I'm very impressed with myself. I imagined myself as an old italian lady standing in her small kitchen years and years ago stuffing pasta shells for her family...my hands covered with cheese and meat...I felt very Holly Homemaker-esk. It was a good dinner. Rory even ate an entire serving on her own.
Nice weather today! Brad took Rory and I to the park for a playdate. She is definitely practicing her use of the word,"No." It seems like every time we turn around she's giving us that negative reply. Sometimes it's frustrating, but I also marvel at how she is developing her own sense of want and desire. She can decide if she wants to go down the yellow or red slide...or no slide at all. She's lucky she's cute is all I gotta say. :)
