Thursday we started Emme on rice cereal. I was avoiding it. With Rory I walked down the baby aisle on a weekly basis dreaming about the day when Rory would reach the "food milestone." My feelings have been completely different with my second, and probably last, baby. I don't anticipate her next milestone. In fact, I was a little sad at the thought of entering a new phase with her. But time doesn't ask our permission, so now Emme is eating rice cereal twice a day. At least she doesn't seem to like it. :)
If I put anything near Emme's face she usually opens wide and attempts to get it in her mouth for further inspection. Not the case with rice cereal. One bite and she closes up like a vault and just stares at the spoon.

So...Elijah needs more cereal!!! I didn't want to start him on it. I was telling my sister I was anti-putting shoes on him, anti-feeding him cereal, and she shaid, "So you're anti him growing up?!". Guess so. Now we're giving him cereal and he pretty much gets it but I didn't know how or when to progress to twice a day? Whats the decider for you? So it's really snowing right now and we're trying to decide what to do with Wyldlife club...hmmm...snow is tough! I love the pics of your family outside. Elijah also seems to cease protest once zipped into his big suit and actually outside. I hope he loves it his whole life.
