Rory's new dresser. We found this for $40 at our last city-wide garage sale. Brad sanded it, I painted it yellow, and Brad added the polka dots. I found the green drawer pulls at a farmer's market in Minnesota this summer. (20 pulls and hardware for 75 cents. Great deal!) I think it turned out marvelously. Maybe we should go into designing children's furniture from old pieces we find at garage sales? Except I don't know if we could work that hard if it wasn't rooted in love.

I can't get this picture to rotate around...sorry it's sideways. I LOVE that these are "my girls." I absolutely adore using that phrase on a daily basis..."my girls," "the girls," "our girls." It has a nice ring to it. Before Emme was born I was not so secretly hoping I'd have a boy the second time around. Then we could have one of each. However, I am extremely happy I have my girls. There is something absolutely wonderful about having daughters. They have an incredible father to set the bar high for any boys that might cross their paths, and now they have eachother. I pray a friendship grows between them that lasts a lifetime. I'm very glad God gave them a sister.

Dresser looks great! Your girls are beautiful and look to be full of personality regardless of age. Thanks for all you write Sam...I'm encouraged. And thanks for helping me find myself. Hopefully we can talk more often...or write :) You should sleep...It's getting better for me.

Sam...where are your latest pics of Emme and news? I know you are sleepy and busy but I loved hearing about your life. I need to ask you questions about the crying so I'll send you an e-mail or call you when I'm back from CO...Eli and I are going this weekend. Very excited.
Love, Linds
