Fourth of July picnic

Fourth of July at Harrisonville City Park. The weather was just perfect if you sat under the shade. We shared a picnic with some friends and then waited for the fireworks to start. Rory actually fell asleep 5 minutes into the show.

The only downside is that I hung the trash bag on a dried up vine of poison ivy that was clinging and climbing up the side of a tree. When my friend announced that it was actually poison ivy I was devastated...I've already had it once during this pregnancy and it's not fun. We washed up as best we could with what we had. Once we got home all of our clothes/blankets/jackets went straight into the washing machine and all three of us took showers before going to bed. Hopefully we have saved ourselves another outbreak...please Lord.
