The next time I buy a house, I'm taking a good look at the trees

As a child I enjoyed playing with helicopters outside. I don't necessarily remember where they came from, but somewhere in my life's journeys I came across those leaf/seed-like things that fall from trees and can be thrown back up into the air and watched as they twist and twirl their way back down to earth.
Fast-forward to my present day home. I live in a great house which we rent dirt-cheap. It's on a prime street and in a nice neighborhood. I've learned a lot from this house that we don't own. I've learned that the next time I go to buy a house I will definitely look at the trees in the yard. Because if those trees happen to be the variety that produces those little helicopter thingies...then no deal. Seriously. I can't stand those things. We have three of them in our front yard and two in the back. The helicopters are EVERYWHERE.

Speaking of no deal. That's Rory's cute new trick. If we say "Deal!" to her she replies, "No Deal!" very emphatically. It's hilarious. You have to see it.
