I like ketchup as much as the next guy...but seriously.

The other day at lunch Rory dipped her grapes in ketchup. And today, we met my brother and a friend of his for lunch at Applebee's. Rory had eaten her chicken fingers and had moved onto the applesauce. I look over at her just as she scoops up a big glob of ketchup on her spoon...and pops it into her mouth. She wasn't shocked by the taste...she meant to do it. She actually went back for more. She's a weird one.

I love high school kids. Well I love high school and middle school kids. Not half an hour ago some of my high school friends left our house after a bible study. I love those girls. Their energy, their thought processes. They are extremely intelligent people who have big dreams, and hopes, sometimes big problems. I have such high hopes for their faith walks. I desperately want God to grab hold of them...and for them to grab back.

I think I need a massage. My back is so tense it hurts to reach around and scratch it. It's sore to the touch even. A massage sounds so relaxing. The other day I started thinking about it and actually relaxed a little bit just imagine what it would feel like to have someone rub my back who knew what they were doing. Maybe next month I'll splurge and treat myself. I don't think I'll regret it. If you've never had a professional massage, waste no more time in scheduling your first. They are wonderful. Totally worth it.
