I do enjoy having a garage

Rory is watching 101 Dalmations...or as we know it, "Puppies!" I think maybe she's seen it a few too many times. As we were watching a scene together just now we heard the honk of Cruella DeVille's car horn. It's the introduction of Cruella's character in the movie. However, Rory upon hearing the familiar horn, exclaimed, "Oh, Pongo!" Which just happens to be the next line of the movie (said by the female dog, Purdy, to her husband/dog, Pongo). Next Rory loudly proclaimed, "Cruella!"

When an almost two year old can anticipate the story line, it might be time to find a new favorite movie. :)

On another note, I love having a garage! I love the fact that we can store stuff in it, have actual garage sales, and put Rory's diaper pail somewhere outside of the house. But today I love it the most. It's raining in Harrisonville, but that doesn't change the fact that we were out of milk. When all you have is water and lemonade for your daughter to drink...it's time to grocery shop. So I ventured out in the steady rain with little Rory for a few essentials from Wal-Mart. After soggy pants from walking through a puddle-filled parking lot, and a cart to car transition with the diaper bag, child, child's monkey, and grocery bags, I was ready to go home. As we approached our street my heart leeped a little as I remembered our garage. I was going to drive right into a dry loading/unloading zone. I could take my time as the rain fell just outside of our haven.
