No autographs, please.

I was on t.v. I think the only person who saw it was a lady from my church. She recognized me in a crowd shot during the Kansas City St. Patrick's Day Parade. Her husband called Brad to tell him and he called me to say, "At least you weren't doing anything embarrassing." My good friend, Sally, and I were out all day on Friday to celebrate her being officially licenced as a therapist/social worker (I'm kind of hazy on her exact title)...either way, it's a big deal in her professional career. In the immediate future it means a raise. :) She also treated me to a yummy homemade breakfast and lunch out to celebrate my birthday on Monday. It was a fun day together. We don't get to spend those lengths of time in eachother's company much any more. The parade was fun to experience. We were so excited for everything we saw. Some of our cheers were pity cheers...it's surprising what can pass as a "parade float."

The pic above is a recent one of Rory during one of her favorite activites...a bubble bath in the "hot tub," which is what she calls the bathtub.
