Earlier this summer we took a trip to Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo with friends. We drove straight there, had a picnic lunch in the parking lot (where Rory executed her first hover and potty without a toilet), and then spent the rest of the afternoon waving at the animals.

Later that night at dinner I ordered dirt cake for Emme's dessert. Bad choice.
After the trip, the zoo, and a good chunk of time swimming at the hotel pool...Emme was exhausted during the drive home.
