I turned 30 in another state.

I haven't yet told you about my birthday trip. Brad and I went to Colorado Springs (a place we hope to someday live) to celebrate my 30th (and his birthday which was one month prior).

All of these photos are from our first day there. We drove all night, ate breakfast in a retro diner just outside of Colorado Springs, and headed straight for Garden of the Gods.

All the stinking school kids on field trips finally got out of here long enough for us to grab a photo op.

The rest of our two day trip was spent exploring Old Colorado City, eating out, eating ice cream in downtown Colorado Springs, hiking and taking a very long nap.

The night of my birthday we ate P.F. Changs and I swear we were sitting 10 feet away from the Video Professor (you know that guy who sells computer learning lessons on tv?). Brad thought I was crazy until he checked the website and discovered the headquarters is out there. Ha! Celebrity Sighting.
