Easter was fun. We started what could be an unofficial tradition (we'll have to see what next year brings). The girls get new dresses for Easter. However, I am usually disappointed with the dress shoes that girls usually don on the religious holiday. Too much money for too little style and too few days on which to wear them. So, Brad and I picked out cute casual shoes which matched the dresses we picked out for the girls. They weren't the dressiest girls in church...but they could run the fastest.
Brad and I found a children's Bible recently and decided to get it for Rory's Easter gift. She and Brad now have a nightly ritual of reading from the Bible before she goes to bed. They actually just came out to fill me in on tonight's story...Pharaoh and the plagues.
Rory was introduced to Peeps this year.

Hold the marshmallowy goodness in your hands.

Lick the yellow sugar off your fingers.

Bite off it's head.

Your world will never be the same.

Share the new treat with your little sister.

Emme gives MeMa her Easter kiss.

"What? Too much sugar? Never!"

Emme showed off every egg she found.

And held her little basket like a grandma going to the supermarket.

Rory poses for a picture with her basket.

We always love our parents more right after they give us candy.

We took a walk while the Easter Bunny hid the girls' eggs at Aunt Kris' house. Rory really wanted to stay and meet the Easter Bunny, but we told her that he was afraid of kids and wouldn't come unless they were out of the house. So she left a note saying hello to him.
