Rory's first Christmas program (and some of Emme)

Rory's first ever Christmas program was Friday night. She was on stage with the other four preschool classes at her school. She was front and center and certainly delivered some quality moments...which we caught on tape. (I've already watched the video twice.)

Her very first Christmas program outfit. Brad asked me why we just didn't send her in jeans and a new sweater. I can't believe he doesn't remember having his hair slicked back and putting on slacks to dress up for his performances.
Cheesing for the camera.
Rory is really enjoying the season this year. She LOVED Santa and was so excited that he even knew her name! (One of my bosses plays Santa for Jewell.) She's a huge fan of snow and would sled and make snow angels all afternoon if she could find someone to play with her...and her cheeks didn't freeze. Every time she catches a snowflake in her mouth she says, "It tastes like Christmas!"

A congratulatory hug from dad after her big debut.
Emme's favorite part were the cookies afterward.

Rory with her teacher, Mrs. Willis.
The girls got a new stroller. It's actually a stroller to pull behind a bike...which Brad and I have plans to use when the weather is more agreeable. The reason we bought it in the dead of winter? The girls can be entirely enclosed in plastic...a real plus when it's raining and we're walking to the cafeteria for a meal.

The view from our apartment. The recent snows have been beautiful to see.
