Team Anderson

Emme's party day was fantastic. We had lunch with family and dinner with friends. A day full of people and cake. My friend Melissa told her daughter Caedmon (a good friend of Rory's) that they were going to Emme's birthday party later that night. Caedmon asked Melissa if the party would be at their house. Melissa said no. Caedmon then asked, "Is it going to be in their hotel?"

What other one year old gets to say their parents threw them a party in a hotel?

Emme was a little timid at first. Rory helped teach her what the appropriate response is when a cake is sat down in front of you.
I bought an obnoxious birthday hat. The one peels off...it came with numbers all the way up to 5. HA!
Eventually she got the hang of it.

This is the first time I have seen Rory do so much work so that Emme could have fun. Rory did really well with Emme having the spotlight.
