Last Sunday we printed out a google map and headed to Porter Park in Prarie Village to spend some time with good friends from college. They are leaving KC to make a home in Springfield. It was fun seeing friends, and friends of friends. The one thing I always come away with whenever we get together with friends is how we hit the jackpot when it comes to the quality of people we have in our lives. The people we love are stellar, and the people they surround themselves with are just as amazing.

Rory spent the entire day running around with her new "best friends," Noah and Eli (brothers). At one point she ran up to me and asked, "Can my best friend put my shoe back on?" I asked who her best friend was just to make sure it wasn't some weirdo she met on the playground. She replied, "Noah!" Recently Rory has been saying she's going to marry her daddy when she grows up. However, for a couple days after that picnic she decided she was going to marry Noah and Eli.

It was a bright sunny day...and hot. Rory ran hard all day long. (Many thanks to Brad who followed her around so I could sit and talk with girlfriends!)

The result of an exhaustingly wonderful afternoon at the park...
...I wonder if she's dreaming of Noah and Eli?

This is an adorable picture of Rory! Don't you love it when they are exhausted and dirty from an afternoon of playing hard outside?

Should Quin be jealous? We need to get them together so she doesn't forget how much she loves her Quinners. :)
