i should be packing

Last Sunday morning we packed up the Volvo and headed to Lake of the Ozarks to see our friends' new lake house. It was amazing. Each bedroom has it's own sliding glass door which opens up to one of decks. We slept with the door open and listened to the water all night.
Daryl and Barb took us for a boat ride (there was no one on the water on Sunday evening) and then sent Brad and I out for a ride on the sea doo. Rory was more than excited to go as well so when we got back she strapped on her life jacket and "drove" us around the cove. I think she tipped the speedometer at .4 miles per hour.
I have new hair. I loved my style but I had to straighten it to make it look good (I have annoyingly wavy hair). At my last appointment with Josh I told him to do whatever he wanted but that I didn't want to have to straighten the back when he was finished. His solution...cut off the back. It was a drastic change (which he warned me about), and I had a mini panic attack that afternoon. But it's growing on me...literally...waaa waaaa (that's the bad joke sound). And I actually like the change. For lots of obvious reasons...it's easier...great for summer...and because it's unique.


Oh yeah, we're moving out of our house in three weeks. Anybody have any boxes we can use? I'm not joking.
