A little fun at the committee retreat. 
Brad and I with friends at New Staff Training in 2002. We spent three weeks in Portland to "learn" how to do Young Life.
Our first YL trip with Harrisonville, "Jim's Place." Named because Jim Rayburn, founder of YL, was actually married in the courthouse in Harrisonville.
Brad plays guitar every week at club. He taught himself to play.

Sam. all your pics and your reflections are great. i see the life and passion of your ministry and your family. we are going to miss you and i feel scared and a bit lost that you articulate lots of my fears and tensions and I solved a lot of them by looking at you. Thanks for reminding me to look at Jesus and to listen to God's voice...but really, thanks for the encouragement the wisdom and all you gave and will continue to give because of your work in sharing life in H-ville. and yay that you're looking to come North. I will keep learning from you...ahh the blog.
