I was pretty excited that my dad and stepmom made the trip to Harrisonville to celebrate Christmas with us about a week before the actual holiday. I knew they wouldn't make it on Christmas Day and was so grateful they carved time out of work and everything else to be with us.
My dad, Papa to the girls, is pretty smitten with his granddaughters. He predicted Rory was a girl before we knew for a fact...saying Brad would have daughters because, "He's going to be a good dad for little girls."
