Okay, so I'm a very bad parent who didn't take a picture of her girls dressed up on Halloween night. I know... it's shocking to me too! I have really great friends however, who did take pics of my little trick-or-treaters and I'm just waiting to receive copies so I can post the photos for you. Sorry!
Here's a funny story to tide you over. On Halloween day we went out to eat lunch before trick-or-treating at Town Center. (We have a very good friend named Daniel who works there...Rory needed some face time with him since we don't see him very often. His wife, Hattie, made the lap around the shops with us. We shared a few laughs at some of the kids' costumes.) Anyway, back to the story. As we were sitting in our booth at On the Border, Rory put her feet up on the table and propped herself up by pushing against the seat with her back. She put both her hands behind her head, sighed and said, "It's good to be home." We laughed out loud. What 2 1/2 year old does that?
Emme officially loves to sleep in her crib. She has been sleeping through the night since week 5, but recently has been waking up later and later in the morning to eat. Last night she set her personal best...she ate at 9:30 pm and went to bed right after. This morning I went into her room at 8:30 am to wake her up to eat. Almost 12 hours in between feedings! Normally I wouldn't let her do that, and I'm not too sure it's healthy. But she is gaining weight just fine, and she eats every 3 hours during the day. She's just a lazy bones I guess...takes after her dad. :) I can't believe she is almost two months old.
You know how I said I was done with kids? Well...maybe we'll adopt just one more.
