...My days are spent playing with Rory, patiently waiting for a smile from Emme G, singing songs, putting together puzzles, picking up fuzz (Rory's vice of pulling fuzz balls from her blanket), and preparing meals. It's simple, not in that it's easy, but it's routine...familiar. Spare the occassional discipline hurdle and we've got easy kids. I laugh every day, tell each of them they're my favorite Rory and Emme I've ever known, and hope they feel the love of not only me, but of their savior. I wonder if Rory really is a phenom, or if I'm blinded by love. :) I daydream about Emme's personality as it unfolds slowly during these baby-days.
This is what I do...make pizza, fold clothes, give baths and try to avoid dusting for as long as possible. It's full, and chaotic, and hilarious...and new...each day, it's new....in a very familiar kind of way.
