Have you ever looked under your oven...or your refrigerator? Stop laughing at me...seriously, it's probably gross. The other day I was making a fruit salad and a grape dropped out of my hand and rolled. I got out the flashlight to search under the two major appliances and discovered, to my horror, a disgusting collection of dustbunnies and items belonging to the previous inhabitants under the stove.
I'm guessing there used to be a cat who lived here because I swept out 4 different cat toys which had apparently been batted under the stove never to be seen again by the poor kitty. Add to that a few beer bottle caps, an empty pack of cigarettes, a few straws, and dog food pieces. I couldn't believe what I found. At least it's gone now. I'm okay with the dust piling up, but a cigarette pack?
Oh, and I found the grape.
