Photos of the same baby...only bigger this time.

Pictures from our April 13th sonogram. The large one on the bottom is a profile of the baby's head and stomach. The head is on the left. You can see his/her little eyes, nose and mouth on the top of the head close to the center of the photo. Starting in the bottom middle of the picture and extending off to the right is the spinal cord.

The top one is really hard to make out this small but the white-ish area just left of the photo's center is the bottom of a foot. The toes are on the left and the heel on the right.

The second one is another profile of the baby.

The third one is a straight on look at the baby's face. He/she is laying sideways with a hand on either side of his/her face. This is one where Brad said it looked like the baby was trying to peek out of my belly and see what was going on.

Forgot to mention in my earlier post that we were also able to see the heart beating with all four chambers working wonderfully. You know, I love seeing the face and toes and little hands. And when I see those legs kick it makes me smile. But one of the most emotional moments for me was seeing that heart working just like it's supposed to. It is like my whole body gets to exhale.
